Yachtsman EzyStow HydroBubble®

Designed for
lighter weight hand deployment,
the Yachtsman EzyStow Design HydroBubble® features a stainless plow and an
aluminum shank. The Yachtsman EzyStow model’s shank is made from high
tensile heat-treated aluminum. We offer the Yachtsman EzyStow anchor
aluminum shank in a BLUE powder coating. Series 50
through 65 Yachtsman EzyStow anchors have an anodized/stainless finish.
The
plow is the part that does the anchoring work, and as the name suggests,
plows itself into the seabed. The HydroBubble® anchor plow
design yields superior holding capacity over other comparably sized
anchors. The design causes the anchor to dig into the seabed and
set deeply.
The
HydroBubble® anchor has a specifically designed strong but flexible
joint, which has a uniquely engineered mechanical lock that cannot release
under any circumstances except for dismantling purposes. The anchor easily
assembles in seconds. By attaching a second line or a breakaway line, the
safety shackle can be used for backwards retrieval of the anchor in bad
anchoring conditions such as rock ledges, tree limbs, and other foulings.
The
Yachtsman EzyStow HydroBubble® will stow away in a smaller space than other
comparably sized anchors due to its ease of assembly. Because of this
feature we suggest considering the Yachtsman EzyStow HydroBubble® in larger
sizes for use as a ‘storm’ or ‘stern’ anchor as it can be
quickly and easily hand deployed as needed. A Yachtsman EzyStow model in a
size smaller than your normal ‘working anchor’ would make a
good ‘lunch hook’.
